AUCTION: Disposal of Miscellaneous Scrap by Karachi Tools, Dies & Moulds Centre

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Karachi Tools, Dies & Moulds Centre (KTDMC), a subsidiary of Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation under the Ministry of Industries & Production, invites bids for the disposal of miscellaneous scrap on an "As is Where is" basis in Karachi. The auction includes a wide range of scrap items located at KTDMC premises in Korangi Creek Industrial Park, Karachi. Bidders must be registered on EPADS, on the Active Taxpayers List of FBR, and submit a 5% bid security in the form of a pay order in favor of Karachi Tools, Dies & Moulds Centre. Bidding documents are available on EPADS and can be purchased from KTDMC or downloaded from www.ktdmc.com. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS and hard copies with original bid security must be delivered to KTDMC before the deadline of 2nd September 2026 at 2:30 pm. Bids will be opened the same day at 3:00 pm in the presence of bidders' representatives. Inspection of scrap items is allowed from 20th to 25th August 2026 during office hours. Successful bidders must deposit full payment within three days of award and remove scrap within five working days at their own risk and cost. The auction is on an "As is Where is" basis with no sorting allowed. Bidders should carefully review the terms and conditions, ensure compliance with tax and registration requirements, and prepare their bids accordingly. A practical tip is to visit the site during inspection days to verify quantities and condition of scrap to avoid surprises after award.
