AUCTION: Disposal of Scrap and Residual Material from Confiscated Machinery and Equipment at Regional Tax Office Sialkot

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Federal Board of Revenue, through its Regional Tax Office in Sialkot, invites eligible and interested bidders to participate in an open electronic auction conducted via EPADS v2.0 for the disposal of scrap and residual material generated from the dismantling and destruction of confiscated machinery, equipment, and raw materials. Items being auctioned include: - Lot 1: Scrap/Residual Material of Dismantled Machinery consisting of 03 Cigarette Rolling Machines (Large) and 05 Other Cigarette Manufacturing Machines (Small), weighing approximately 12.670 Tons with a reserve price of Rs. 2,450,000 and earnest money of Rs. 122,500. - Lot 2: Old Air Conditioners and Other Miscellaneous Scrap Items weighing approximately 1,200 Kg with a reserve price of Rs. 250,000 and earnest money of Rs. 12,500. The total estimated weight of all lots is about 13.870 Tons with a combined reserve price of Rs. 2,700,000. Bidders are strongly advised to inspect the material at the Regional Tax Office, Sialkot during the inspection period from 01/10/2026 to 05/10/2026 during office hours to verify the condition, quantity, and quality of the scrap. The auction will be conducted strictly on an "AS IS, WHERE IS" and "AS IS, WHAT IS" basis without any warranty. Participation requires registration on EPADS v2.0 and compliance with eligibility criteria including valid FBR NTN, Sales Tax registration, and appearance on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Earnest money must be furnished as bid security according to the specified amounts per lot. Bids must be submitted electronically; manual or offline bids will not be accepted. The highest valid bid meeting or exceeding the reserve price will be considered for award subject to verification and approval by the competent authority. Successful bidders must deposit the full sale consideration within the prescribed period and bear all costs related to dismantling, loading, transportation, and removal of the material.
