AUCTION: Experimental Animals at PVI Layyah

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, invites bids for the auction of experimental animals located at the Para Veterinary Institute (PVI), Layyah. This auction is conducted under the Punjab Procurement Rules-2014 (amended) using a single stage single envelope bidding procedure (sealed). Items being auctioned include experimental animals at PVI Layyah. The auction documents are available free of cost on the UVAS website at http://soft.uvas.edu.pk/tender.asp. Bidders must submit sealed bids by 28-09-2026 till 01:30 p.m. with a refundable 5% bid security amounting to Rs. 25,170/- in the form of Bank Guarantee, CDR, Demand Draft, Pay Order, or Banker's Cheque in favor of the Treasurer, UVAS, Lahore. The bids will be opened on the same day at 02:00 p.m. in the office of Prof. Dr. Mian Abdul Hafeez, Convener Auction Committee, Department of Parasitology, UVAS Lahore. Interested bidders may contact the Secretary Auction Committee at Room No. 106, Admin Block, Treasurer Office, UVAS Lahore or Para Veterinary Institute, Layyah at phone number 0313-6723339. The auctionable animals can be inspected at Para Veterinary Institute, Layyah during working hours. The bid validity is 120 days. UVAS is not responsible for any expenses incurred by bidders related to preparation or delivery of bids. If the closing date is a holiday, the next working day will be treated as the closing date. Eligibility requires original CNIC and registration as per Punjab Procurement Rules. Successful bidders must deposit bid money in Alfalah Bank and pay Income Tax at 10% or 20% as per rules through the Secretary, University Auction Committee. University employees or their family members are not allowed to participate. The successful bidder must pick the material on the same day of auction. The university and auction committee disclaim responsibility for any loss after the auction day. Bidders are advised to carefully review the auction documents on the UVAS website and ensure timely submission of sealed bids with all required documents and bid security to avoid disqualification.
