AUCTION: Fishing Rights in Various Water Bodies Punjab 2026-2027

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Department of Fisheries, Punjab, is inviting bids for the e-auction of fishing rights in various water bodies across Punjab for the year 2026-2027. This corrigendum updates the previous auction schedule (IPL-8037-LRM) and provides revised dates for the auction process. The auction is open to eligible bidders who wish to acquire the rights to fish in designated water bodies for commercial purposes. The auctions will be held at the office of the Director General Fisheries, 60-A, Urdu Bazar Road, Lahore, as per the revised schedule below. Items being auctioned: - Fishing rights for Head Qadirabad, District Gujranwala (auction date: 14.09.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Khanki, District Gujranwala (auction date: 15.09.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Trimmu, District Jhang (auction date: 16.09.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Balloki, District Kasur (auction date: 17.09.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Sulemanki, District Okara (auction date: 18.09.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Islam, District Vehari (auction date: 19.09.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Qadirabad, District Gujranwala (second round, auction date: 28.09.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Khanki, District Gujranwala (second round, auction date: 30.09.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Trimmu, District Jhang (second round, auction date: 01.10.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Balloki, District Kasur (second round, auction date: 02.10.2026) - Fishing rights for Head Sulemanki, District Okara (second round, auction date: 03.10.2026) Each lot represents the exclusive right to fish in the specified water body for the financial year. Bidders must submit an Earnest Money deposit of at least Rs. 500,000 in the form of CDR or Pay Order. Only those registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) are eligible to participate. The auctions will be conducted in person at the Lahore head office on the specified dates. Interested parties should ensure timely arrival and bring all required documents, including proof of tax registration and Earnest Money. A practical tip: Arrive early on the auction day to complete registration and verify your documents, as latecomers may not be allowed to participate. Carefully review the terms and conditions for each lot to avoid disqualification.
