AUCTION: E-Auction of Scrap Material Lots by Karachi Port Trust

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites electronic bids for the e-Auction of scrap material on an 'as is-where is basis' in Karachi. The auction is managed by the Stores Department of KPT and requires bidders to be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for Income Tax and Sales Tax and be on the Active Taxpayer List. The e-bidding documents are available on EPADS Version 2.0 at https://epads.gov.pk/. Items being auctioned: - Scrap of Furniture, Hospital Equipment & Machinery, Old Mattresses, Pillows, etc. - Scrap of Dismantled MS pipes dia 8" & 16" - Scrap of Iron Grill, Wooden Doors & Windows. Bidders are responsible for completing all formalities and requirements for electronic bid submission. All taxes, levies, duties, and other charges will be applied as per government rules. The highest bidder will be awarded the lots after approval by the Competent Authority. Earnest money equal to 10% of the reserve price for each lot must be furnished. Interested bidders are advised to inspect the lots during office hours at the central disposal yard, West Wharf Road, Karachi, before submitting bids. Manual bids will not be accepted. The electronic bids must be submitted using EPADS (2.0 version) on or before Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Electronic bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM. Participants must submit an attested copy of their valid CNIC through EPADS.
