AUCTION: GECHS Bahawalpur Society Shops Lease Rights (B, D, E, F, G, H Blocks)

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Government Employees Cooperative Housing Society (GECHS), Bahawalpur, invites sealed bids for the lease rights of society shops located in B, D, E, F, G, and H blocks. This auction is open to individuals, firms, and organizations interested in acquiring the lease of these commercial properties for a period of five years. The auction will be conducted as per the terms and conditions set by the society. Items being auctioned: - Lease rights of society shops in B Block (quantity not specified) - Lease rights of society shops in D Block - Lease rights of society shops in E Block - Lease rights of society shops in F Block - Lease rights of society shops in G Block - Lease rights of society shops in H Block Reserve price for each shop is set at Rs. 300,000. Applicants must submit a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 10,000 and an earnest money deposit (Earnest Money) of Rs. 50,000 per shop in the form of a bank draft or pay order. The successful bidder will be required to pay the reserve price and sign a lease agreement after approval from the society's Annual General Meeting (AGM). The lease is valid for five years, with a 10% annual increase in rent. Shops cannot be sublet or used for any purpose other than those approved by the society. In case of a tie or dispute, the decision of the AGM will be final. Tender documents can be obtained from the society office for Rs. 5,000 (non-refundable). The last date for submission of sealed bids is 25 August 2026, by 4:00 PM. The auction will be opened on the same day at 4:03 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
