AUCTION: Confiscated Golden Spoon Pudding Dessert of Assorted Flavors at Taftan and Quetta

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Collectorate of Customs Appraisement, Custom House, Taftan, is conducting an open auction of confiscated and overstayed goods. This auction is scheduled to take place at the Custom House, Taftan, as well as the NLC Dry Port in Quetta. The auction is being held under the rules specified in Chapter V of SRO 450(1)/2001 dated 18.06.2001. Interested bidders are invited to participate in this transparent process for the disposal of goods that have either been confiscated or have overstayed at the customs facility. Items being auctioned: - Golden Spoon pudding Dessert of Assorted Flavors (as per Annex-A, lying at NLC Border Terminal, Taftan) The auction will be conducted on an 'As is where is' basis, and all participants must comply with the terms and conditions outlined by the Collectorate. Successful bidders are required to deposit 25% of the bid amount immediately on the spot, while the remaining 75% must be paid within seven days of the display of the approved lots on the notice board. Only NTN holders are eligible to participate, and an additional 10% of the bid amount must be deposited as Advance Income Tax. Sealed bids lot-wise and bids via a provided Zoom link will also be accepted, offering flexibility for remote participation. Participants are advised to bring their original National Identity Card on the day of the auction. The auctioneer, M/s. Business Line Indicators, will facilitate the process. Inspection of the goods is allowed during office hours at the specified locations. The Collectorate reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason. If the auction is not completed within the stipulated period, it may continue the next day until all lots are finalized. A practical tip: Arrive early to inspect the goods thoroughly and ensure your NTN and CNIC are valid and available, as compliance with documentation is strictly enforced.
