Tender Description
The Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) Karachi invites interested parties for a public auction of industrial waste material located at Dump Yard no:6 on an AS IS WHERE IS BASIS. The auction will be held on 21-07-2026 at 2:30 pm at Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi. Items being procured:
- Industrial waste material
- Used Textile Clothing
The industrial waste lying in the dumping area can be inspected during office hours (9:30 am to 4:00 pm) on any working day prior to the auction. This auction is conducted under Public Notice No:8/2002-EXP (HQ) dated 06-11-2002. Bidders must submit participation fees of Rs:15,000 per lot (non-refundable) by 20-07-2026 to be eligible for the auction. Bids must include all government duties and taxes. The successful bidder will pay an additional 35% EPZA share on the highest approved bid and 10% Advance Withholding Tax as per clause#236A of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001. A 25% advance payment is required immediately upon declaration of success on the spot. Remaining payments including 10% withholding tax and 35% EPZA share must be deposited within three working days after award of work order and before lifting the industrial waste.
Failure to remove the material within seven days will result in forfeiture of the bid amount and blacklisting for future auctions. No sorting or segregation of material is allowed before or after award. The successful bidder must remove all material lying in the dumping area as per EPZA requirements. This auction offers a unique opportunity for firms dealing in industrial scrap and waste materials to acquire goods at competitive prices. Interested bidders should ensure timely submission of participation fees and prepare for immediate payment upon success.
