AUCTION: Lease of Shop No.02 and Shop No.06 at Pak PWD Colony, Lahore

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Estate Office Management Lahore invites bids for the lease of two commercial shops located in Pak PWD Colony, Lahore. The auction is scheduled for Thursday, 17 September 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Estate Office Lahore. The shops available for lease are Shop No.02 and Shop No.06, each measuring 135 square feet (9x15). This open auction is unrestricted and open to all Pakistani citizens including those from Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, as well as companies, firms, and societies. However, Estate Office employees and contractors are not eligible to participate. Items being auctioned: - Shop No.02 (135 sq ft) - Shop No.06 (135 sq ft) Bidders must obtain a token by depositing Rs. 30,000 per shop via bank draft or pay order in favor of Drawing Disbursing Officer Estate Office Lahore. Tokens can be purchased prior to the auction or on the auction day before proceedings begin. Token money will be adjusted for successful bidders or refunded without deductions if unsuccessful. Joint bidding is allowed by purchasing independent tokens and combining them. Participation through an attorney requires a special power of attorney on non-judicial stamp paper. The highest bidder will be required to pay one year's advance rent plus three months' security within 10 days of approval. All payments must be made through crossed bank drafts or pay orders. The lease term is three years from the date of occupation. The Estate Office reserves the right to withdraw shops, reject bids, or amend terms without prior notice. The site location cannot be changed after auction. Rent will be assessed or enhanced annually by at least 10%. Failure to pay rent for three consecutive months may result in cancellation and eviction after one month's notice. Bidders must submit a copy of their CNIC and the token money before bidding. Physical bid documents should be submitted to the Estate Office on the auction date. Bids will be opened publicly at 11:00 AM. Blacklisted bidders or those involved in litigation with government entities will be disqualified. Incomplete or conditional bids without token money will not be considered. Personal canvassing or unauthorized practices will lead to disqualification. This auction is conducted under the guidelines of the PPRA Rules and the Shop Rental Auction Policy 2017 (Amended 2023).
