Auction of Lease for Rights of Toll Tax Collection at Suleimanki Barrage for 334 Days

This auction notice invites sealed bids for the lease of toll tax collection rights at Suleimanki Barrage, Suleimanki, for a period of 334 days starting from 01-08-2026 to 30-06-2027. The procurement is managed by the Executive Engineer Suleimanki Headworks Division under the Irrigation Department Punjab, located in Sahiwal. The auction is for the toll tax collection rights at the Suleimanki Barrage Bridge. Items being procured: - Lease rights for toll tax collection at Suleimanki Barrage for 334 days The reserve price for the auction is Rs. 11,523,000 for the 334-day period. Interested bidders must deposit 5% earnest money amounting to Rs. 576,150 in advance through a call deposit drawn in favor of the Executive Engineer Suleimanki Headworks Division Suleimanki from a scheduled Bank of Pakistan. The cost of bidding documents is Rs. 10,000, payable in cash and non-refundable. The bid documents will be issued upon submission of the attested copy of the bidder’s specimen signature and power of attorney in case of a firm. The successful bidder will be handed possession of the toll tax collection rights after approval from the Competent Authority and depositing the first installment. The contract will expire on 30-06-2027 at 24:00 hours unless rescinded earlier due to violation of contract terms. The bidder must sign every page of the bidding documents and will pay the bid amount in 11 equal monthly installments in advance. All expenses related to operation, maintenance, and utility bills will be borne by the lessee. Toll tax will be levied on vehicles as per the approved government schedule.
