AUCTION: Lease Rights of University of Okara Canteens for 2026-2027

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The University of Okara is inviting sealed bids for the lease rights of its canteens for the financial year 2026-2027. The auction will be held at the Committee Room, University of Okara, on 16 November 2026 at 03:00 PM. Interested parties are encouraged to participate in this open auction for the opportunity to operate canteen facilities within the university premises. Items being auctioned: - Canteen No. 175 (19 Girls Common Room) — Reserve Price: Rs. 100,000, Annual Lease Value: Rs. 140,000 - Canteen No. 176 (19 Girls Common Room) — Reserve Price: Rs. 100,000, Annual Lease Value: Rs. 140,000 - Canteen No. 177 (19 Girls Common Room) — Reserve Price: Rs. 100,000, Annual Lease Value: Rs. 140,000 - Canteen No. 178 (21 Girls Common Room) — Reserve Price: Rs. 100,000, Annual Lease Value: Rs. 140,000 - Canteen Nos. 173+174 (13 Girls Common Room) — Reserve Price: Rs. 100,000, Annual Lease Value: Rs. 140,000 Each canteen is being offered for a one-year lease period, from 12 December 2026 to 13 November 2027. The successful bidder for each canteen will be required to deposit 100 percent of the annual lease value in advance, along with a CDR in favor of the Treasurer, University of Okara. All participants must bring their original CNIC and a pay order or CDR for earnest money as specified. The auction committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason. Bidders must also comply with FBR registration and Advance Withholding Tax requirements. The use of child labor under the age of 14 is strictly prohibited as per the Child Labour Act. Bids must be submitted in person at the Committee Room before the auction time. For best results, bidders should visit the canteen sites in advance to assess the facilities and prepare their financial offers accordingly. Remember to bring all required documents and earnest money to avoid disqualification on the auction day.
