AUCTION: Minor Minerals Blocks Lease in District Chitral Lower

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The District Auction Committee of District Chitral Lower invites registered contractors of Minor Minerals to participate in an auction for the grant of Minor Mineral leases in various blocks/areas of District Lower Chitral. The auction is conducted under the provisions of Section-78 Sub Section (3) of The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act, 2017 for a one-year period on an 'As is where is' basis against reserve prices and call deposits. The auction will be held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral on 27/10/2026 at 11:00 AM, with a backup date of 28/10/2026 at 11:00 AM if the first auction is not successful. Applications must be submitted with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10,000 at least three days before the auction. Last date for submission is Friday, 23/10/2026 at 5:00 PM. Call deposits must be paid into specified Bank of Khyber accounts. Applicants must submit attested CNIC, NTN, partnership deed or memorandum, and evidence of paid-up capital if applicable. Successful bidders must deposit 1/4th of the total bid as security within three days of auction and will be responsible for excise duty, withholding tax, surface rent, and compliance with mining laws. The leased area will be demarcated at the bidder's expense. Verified challans are required for transportation of minerals. The Licensing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject bids.
