NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The University of Agriculture Faisalabad is conducting an open auction for the standing sugarcane crop located at Research Farm No. 132, Chak No. 50, 63, Faisalabad. Interested parties are invited to participate in the auction scheduled for 2026-11-16 at 10:30 AM at the farm site. This auction is being managed by the Directorate of Farms, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, and is open to all eligible bidders who comply with the terms and conditions outlined below.
Items being auctioned:
- Standing sugarcane crop (Kharif 2026) at Research Farm No. 132, Chak No. 50, 63, Faisalabad, covering approximately 55 acres (771 kanals)
Key auction terms include:
- The highest bidder will be required to deposit 25 percent of the total bid amount immediately after the auction.
- A refundable earnest money deposit of Rs. 100,000 (in cash/pay order) is mandatory for participation, with a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500. Earnest money must be deposited in Account No. 11-9 NBP UAF.
- Successful bidders who are non-filers will be subject to double the applicable tax rate compared to filers, as per prevailing FBR rules.
- The successful bidder must harvest and remove the crop within one-third of the stipulated time after the auction. Any delay will result in penalties or cancellation of the award.
- The auction process and its outcome cannot be challenged in any court of law.
All interested bidders must bring their original CNIC and proof of earnest money deposit on the day of the auction. The auction committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason. For best results, bidders should inspect the crop in advance and clarify any queries with the Directorate of Farms before the auction date. Timely arrival at the auction venue is recommended to complete registration and documentation.
