Auction of Old and Used Motorcycles

The Office of the Postmaster General Northern Sindh Circle Hyderabad is conducting an open auction for the disposal of twenty one old and used motorcycles. These motorcycles include models such as Honda CD-70 from years 2008 and 2009, and Qingqi 100CC models from 2003 to 2006. The auction will be held on the PPRA portal on an AS IS, WHERE IS basis, with the closing date and time set for 29th June 2026 at 11:00 am. The bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 am at the office in Hyderabad. The motorcycles are parked at the Postal Stock Depot Hyderabad, adjacent to Postal Colony Unit No. 09 behind B.I.S.E Hyderabad, and are available for inspection from 30th March 2026 to 27th April 2026 during office hours from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Interested bidders must upload their National Identity Card and provide a complete present address along with an active telephone number. It is mandatory to deposit 10% of the reserved price as Earnest Money in the form of CDR or Pay Order in favor of the Postmaster General Northern Sindh Circle Hyderabad. Without this deposit, bidders will not be eligible to participate. Successful bidders are required to deposit 25% of the total bid amount on the spot, with the remaining balance payable within seven days of auction approval. Government taxes will be charged as per prevailing rates. After full payment, a transfer letter will be issued to the successful bidder for ownership transfer. The bidder will be responsible for all applicable dues and re-registration fees. The motorcycles must be lifted within three days of payment, failing which the deposit will be forfeited. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA Rules 2004. For bidders, a practical tip is to carefully inspect the motorcycles during the inspection period and ensure all required documents and deposits are prepared in advance to avoid disqualification.
