AUCTION: Raddi (Waste Paper) and Un-Useable Scrap Material

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Institute of Education and Research (IER), University of the Punjab Lahore, invites sealed bids from interested individuals, firms, and companies through Open Competitive Bidding for the public auction of raddi (waste paper) and un-useable scrap material on an 'As Is Where Is' basis in Lahore. Items being auctioned: - Lot-I: Raddi (Waste Paper) including old examination answer books, students' assignments, used office papers, old newspapers, old magazines, obsolete books, thesis and dissertations declared disposable, and any other waste paper approved for auction. Preference will be given to firms/companies engaged in paper recycling. - Lot-II: Scrap of Wooden Furniture including un-useable and condemned wooden furniture such as tables, chairs, desks, cupboards, benches, racks, and other wooden items. - Lot-III: Scrap of Wooden Furniture including un-useable and condemned wooden furniture such as tables, chairs, desks, cupboards, benches, racks, and other wooden items. The auction documents can be obtained from the Office of the Director, Institute of Education and Research during office hours upon payment of the prescribed tender fee. Sealed bids must reach the office of the undersigned on or before 11-09-2026 at 10:00 AM. The bids will be opened on 13-09-2026 at 10:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or cancel the auction process at any stage in accordance with applicable rules without assigning any reason. Note: Employees of the University of the Punjab, including the Institute of Education and Research (IER), are not allowed to participate in the auction. Bidders should ensure timely submission of bids and carefully review all auction documents to avoid disqualification. Participation requires strict adherence to the auction terms and conditions.
