Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The Lahore Cantonment Board is offering an opportunity through an open public auction to replace the existing superstructure of 29 bus stop shelters with modern Bus Queue Shelters (BQS) and to acquire advertisement rights on specified spaces. The auction will be held at the office of Lahore Cantt Board on 14 September 2026 at 1230 hours, with alternative dates on 15 and 16 September 2026 if the auction is not completed on the specified date.
Items involved in the auction include:
- Replacement of 29 bus stop shelters with modern Bus Queue Shelters (BQS)
- Advertisement rights on the specified bus queue shelter spaces
The successful bidder will be responsible for the replacement and reconstruction of the shelters according to the approved design/sample by the Cantonment Executive Officer. Advertisement rights will be granted initially for one year on a Build-Operate-Transfer (B.O.T) basis with no advertisement charges during this period. Afterward, the allotment may continue for an additional two years subject to payment of advertisement charges. The highest bidder for advertisement charges will be declared the successful bidder.
The dimensions of advertisement materials will be approved by the CEO/Board. Installation of publicity materials must be strictly within approved spaces; any excess will be removed at the bidder's risk and cost. Bidders must deposit Earnest Money of Rs. 1 million in the form of call deposit or bank guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan or a foreign bank with counter guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan.
Defaulters of any government organization, especially Lahore Cantt Board, are ineligible. Advertisements must not be obscene or politically offensive. The advertiser is responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of shelters and must visit daily to clear writings and posters. Disputes will be referred to the DML&C Lahore Region under the Arbitration Act, 1940.
For more information, bidders can visit the Lahore Cantonment Board or PPRA website or contact the LCB office during working hours. This auction offers a valuable opportunity for businesses to gain prominent advertising space in Lahore Cantt with a modern infrastructure upgrade.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your Earnest Money deposit is ready and meets the specified format to avoid disqualification. Also, visit the site beforehand to understand the scope and condition of existing shelters.
