AUCTION: Scrap Vehicles and Agricultural Machinery at Agricultural Research Institute Mingora Swat

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Agricultural Research Institute Mingora Swat is conducting a public auction for various types of scrap vehicles and agricultural machinery, including scrap batteries and other unserviceable items. The auction will be held at the institute's premises in Mingora on 15/09/2026 at 11:00 AM. Interested parties (bidders) are invited to participate in the auction process by submitting their applications before the specified date and time. If the auction cannot be held on the scheduled date due to unforeseen circumstances, it will be conducted the following day, 16/09/2026, at 11:00 AM. Items being auctioned: - Scrap vehicles (various types) - Scrap agricultural machinery - Scrap batteries - Other unserviceable items (as available at the institute) All successful bidders must deposit 1/4th of the total bid amount immediately after the auction is finalized, and the remaining amount must be paid before the removal of the auctioned items. The list of auction items and their details can be inspected during office hours prior to the auction date. The Director of the institute reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason. Eligibility requirements include submission of a refundable earnest money of PKR 40,000 in the form of a pay order in favor of the Director, Agricultural Research Institute Mingora Swat, before the start of the auction. All applicable taxes and government dues will be the responsibility of the successful bidder. The successful bidder must remove the auctioned items within 15 days of the auction; otherwise, storage charges will apply. A practical tip for bidders: Arrive early on the auction day to inspect the items thoroughly and ensure your earnest money pay order is ready, as participation without it will not be allowed.
