Disposal of Unserviceable Power Transformers by Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO)

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites sealed bids through e-Bids of F-APGS version 2.0 for the disposal of several unserviceable power transformers. The auction will be held online on 10-November-2026 (Tuesday) at 11:00 AM. The transformers are located at various grid stations under GEPCO jurisdiction including Mangowal, Kharian, Marala, Pasrur, and Wazirabad. Items being auctioned: - 132/11KV, 15MVA power transformer Make GEC lying at 132 KV Mangowal Grid Station (Qty: 01, Earnest Money: Rs. 2,269,959/-) - 132/11KV, 10.5MVA (3.5 MVA each) power transformer Make DOMINIT lying at 132 KV Kharian Grid Station (Qty: 01, Earnest Money: Rs. 2,687,250/-) - 66/11KV, 10MVA power transformer Make Engro lying at 66 KV Malkwal Grid Station (Qty: 01, Earnest Money: Rs. 1,892,055/-) - 66/11KV, 10/13MVA power transformer Make Elprom lying at 66 KV Head Marala Grid Station (Qty: 01, Earnest Money: Rs. 2,285,475/-) - 132/11KV, 10MVA power transformer Make ASEA lying at 132 KV Pasrur Grid Station (Qty: 01, Earnest Money: Rs. 2,609,101/-) - 132/11KV, 10MVA power transformer Make ASEA lying at 132 KV Qila Didar Singh Grid Station (Qty: 01, Earnest Money: Rs. 2,609,101/-) - 132/11KV, 15MVA power transformer Make GEC lying at 132 KV Wazirabad Grid Station (Qty: 01, Earnest Money: Rs. 2,221,625/-) The transformers can be inspected at their respective grid stations before the auction date during working hours. Interested bidders must pay Earnest Money as per the specified amounts via Bank Guarantee/Pay Order in the name of Executive Engineer SS&T Division Gujranwala before the auction date. Bidders should quote rates exclusive of all taxes and submit their bids along with all government taxes. The successful bidder will be required to pay the full amount within 21 working days from the date of issuance of the Letter of Acceptance. Failure to comply will result in cancellation of the auction and forfeiture of the earnest money. This auction provides an excellent opportunity for scrap dealers and recyclers to acquire high-value unserviceable transformers. Bidders are advised to carefully inspect the items and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
