Tender Description
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is conducting an auction for various kinds of scrap and waste material located at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. This auction is an excellent opportunity for suppliers and contractors interested in acquiring scrap items on an 'AS IT IS AND WHERE IT IS' basis. The auction process is managed by the PCB's senior management and is specific to Karachi, Sindh.
The scope includes the disposal of scrap and waste materials from designated PCB locations. Interested bidders are required to submit sealed applications in hard copy form along with all requisite documents, including a bid security in the form of a CDR amounting to PKR 100,000 in favor of the Pakistan Cricket Board. This earnest money will be refunded after the completion of the disposal process. Taxes will be applied as per prevailing laws. Bidders must also provide a non-blacklisting affidavit on stamp paper worth PKR 100.
Applicants can inspect the auctionable material during office hours from Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm, and may request the prescribed form via email. The successful bidder will be responsible for lifting the scrap within one week, bearing all associated costs such as transportation, supervision, weighing, and labor. A focal person must be deputed to supervise the collection process. The winning bidder must submit all payments in advance, and failure to comply or withdrawal will result in forfeiture of the security deposit.
The submission deadline is strictly by 11:00 A.M. PST on 13th July 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 A.M. PST the same day. Applications should be sent to the address provided by PCB. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documents, especially the CDR and affidavit, are complete and submitted on time to avoid disqualification. Early inspection of materials is recommended to assess value and prepare competitive bids.
This auction is a valuable chance for businesses dealing in scrap and waste materials to engage with a reputable government entity and secure materials for recycling or resale. The Pakistan Cricket Board reserves the right to amend or cancel the process at any stage.
