Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has announced the open auction of a standing sunflower crop cultivated over approximately 189 acres and 47 kanals at its agricultural farm in Faisalabad. This is an agricultural produce auction rather than a purchase tender: the successful bidder will acquire the crop for harvesting and will be responsible for completing all related operational obligations.
Lot 1: Sunflower crop covering 189 acres and 47 kanals; the notice presents this as the principal and apparently single auction lot. No separate lot-wise quantity, yield estimate, unit rate, or reserve price is printed. Bidders should inspect the crop and site conditions before quoting, as the department appears to offer the crop in its existing field condition.
Each bidder is required to deposit **Rs. 15,000 per acre** as refundable earnest money or security, along with the applicable **Rs. 500 per acre refundable amount** mentioned in the notice. The exact aggregate deposit should be confirmed from the auction office before participation because the printed area is expressed in both acres and kanals. The successful bidder must pay the accepted auction amount within the prescribed period and bear harvesting, labour, transportation, loading, and other incidental expenses.
The crop is to be harvested within 20 days after permission or award, subject to the department's directions. Applicable government taxes, duties, levies, and charges will be payable by the successful bidder. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to cancel the auction without assigning a reason. Participation should be supported by valid identity documentation and tax-status evidence, including ATL information where required.
Bids or auction participation are scheduled through the designated office of **University of Agriculture Faisalabad**. The stated submission deadline is **31 March 2026 at 11:00 AM**, while the auction is scheduled for **24 April 2026 at 11:00 AM**. The notice does not clearly print a complete submission address or contact details. Practical tip: arrange the refundable security in advance and conduct a physical crop inspection before bidding.
