Auction of Transport House Canteen Lease for Financial Years 2026-2029

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Transport and Masstransit Department Punjab Lahore invites eligible individuals, firms, or companies registered with Government Institutions to participate in the public auction for the lease and operation of the Transport House Canteen for the financial years 2026 to 2029. The lease is for a period of three years, subject to annual evaluation and satisfactory performance with a 10% annual increase in contract amount. The total area of the dining hall and kitchen is 31'x12'. Items/lot involved: - Lease and operation rights of Transport House Canteen, Lahore The auction requires submission of sealed applications along with an Earnest Money amounting to Rs. 12,000 and a Reserved Price of Rs. 600,000. Applications must be submitted to the Section Officer (General), Transport & Masstransit Department. The lease documents can be downloaded from the official website www.transport.punjab.gov.pk after publication on PPRA website www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Incomplete or ineligible applications will be rejected. Interested bidders may visit the canteen premises on or before 20.10.2026. Sealed applications must be received by 11:00 a.m. on 20.10.2026. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted. Opening of applications will be at 11:30 a.m. on the same day, followed by auction proceedings at 3:00 p.m. at the Committee Room of Transport & Masstransit Department, 11-A Edgerton Road, Lahore. If the closing date or auction date falls on a public holiday or non-working day, the next working day will be considered as the closing date. The department reserves the right to reject or annul the auction process at any stage without assigning any reason. Bidders should ensure timely submission and compliance with all terms to avoid disqualification. Visiting the site before bidding is recommended to assess the premises and prepare competitive bids.
