AUCTION: University of Chakwal Canteens and Shops Lease 2026

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The University of Chakwal invites applications from well reputed firms, suppliers, and contractors registered with tax departments as active taxpayers for participation in the auction of canteens and shops located on the university premises in Chakwal. Items being auctioned include: - Canteen 1 adjacent to BS Block - Canteen 2 Engineering Block - Canteen 3 Venture Block - Stationery & Photocopy Shops adjacent to BS Block - Stationery & Photocopy Shops Engineering Block The auction documents can be downloaded free of cost from www.uoc.edu.pk or www.cppra.punjab.gov.pk. Applications in complete conformity with documents must be submitted to the Estate Office, University of Chakwal, by August 26, 2026 (Wednesday) before 11:00 am. The open auction will be conducted on the same day at 11:30 am in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The contract(s) will be awarded to the highest bidder(s). The highest bidder(s) must pay 20% of the bid amount on the spot, with the remaining amount payable within ten days. The initial contract period is for the financial year 2026-27, with a possible extension up to a maximum of three years based on satisfactory performance and a 10% increase in the initial award amount. The auction will proceed as per PPRA Rules 2014, amended to date, read with the Punjab Delegation of Financial Powers Rules, 2016. All applicable taxes will be deducted by the University of Chakwal as per government rules. The University reserves the right to cancel one or more tenders without assigning any reason. The Estate Office may be contacted for further details. Second and third open auctions may be conducted on August 31, 2026 (Monday) and September 3, 2026 (Thursday) respectively, if deemed necessary, at the same time. The Auction Committee reserves the right to cancel the auction process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award without incurring any liability. Bidders should ensure timely submission and attend the auction personally or through authorized representatives to avoid disqualification.
