AUCTION: Unserviceable Public Assets by Communication & Works Department Gilgit Baltistan

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Communication & Works Department Gilgit Baltistan invites sealed bids for the auction of obsolete and unserviceable public assets located at the B&R Division Ghanche. This auction is open to any citizen of Pakistan holding a valid CNIC. Items being auctioned include: - Chain Dozer, 12000 kg, Reserve Price Rs. 1,560,000 - Air Compressor, 1800 kg, Reserve Price Rs. 2,340,000 - Road Roller, 12000 kg, Reserve Price Rs. 1,560,000 - Bitumen Mixer, 1800 kg, Reserve Price Rs. 2,340,000 - Furniture & Crockery (L.S), Rest House, Reserve Price Rs. 150,000 The auction will be conducted on an AS IS WHERE IS basis at the C&WD Workshop and Rest House locations. Bidders must submit earnest money as specified for each lot in the form of a CDR in favor of the Executive Engineer B&R Division C&WD Ghanche. Inspection of assets is allowed during office hours from 20-10-2026 to 06-11-2026. Bidders must attach a copy of their valid CNIC and an undertaking on Rs. 100 stamp paper. Employees of C&W Department GB and blacklisted persons/firms are not eligible. The successful bidder must deposit 25% of the bid amount within 2 working days of the auction and the balance within 7 days. Assets must be removed at the bidder's own cost and risk within the specified period. The department is not responsible for any defect or transportation costs. The department reserves the right to reject or cancel bids as per rules. This auction is a valuable opportunity for bidders to acquire heavy machinery and furniture at competitive prices.
