Tender Description
The Nuclear Institute of Medicine and Radiotherapy (NIMRA) at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) in Jamshoro is conducting an auction for unserviceable stores and miscellaneous scrap materials lying at their premises. This auction provides an opportunity for suppliers and scrap dealers in Sindh to acquire various scrap items available at the NIMRA site on an as-is-where-is basis.
Interested parties can inspect the scrap items at NIMRA, Jamshoro during office hours from 08:30 AM to 10:30 AM, excluding Sundays, up to the auction date on 11th July 2026. A security deposit of Rs. 1000 is required in cash or bank draft favoring Head LAO-NIMRA to participate in the bidding process. The successful bidder must pay 25% of the auction money on the spot, with the remaining 75% payable within five days. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
This auction is ideal for businesses experienced in scrap handling and disposal. While no specific PEC category or FBR registration is mentioned, bidders should ensure compliance with government tax regulations as taxes will be charged on the successful bid amount. The successful bidder is responsible for removing the scrap within one week at their own expense.
The auction will be held at NIMRA, Jamshoro at 11:00 AM sharp on 11th July 2026. Bidders should prepare their earnest money and documents in advance to avoid last-minute issues. A practical tip is to thoroughly inspect the scrap beforehand to assess its value and condition, ensuring informed bidding and avoiding surprises post-purchase.
