AUCTION: Unserviceable Vehicles, Machinery, and Scrap Items at Islamabad Depot

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Pakistan Railways is conducting an open auction for the disposal of various unserviceable vehicles, machinery, and scrap items at its Islamabad depot. This auction presents an opportunity for interested parties to acquire a range of used and scrap assets, including heavy machinery and electrical equipment, through a transparent bidding process. The auction will be held at the designated location in Islamabad, and all interested bidders are encouraged to participate as per the schedule provided below. Items being auctioned: - Lot 1: Unserviceable vehicles and machinery (Dumper, Water Chiller, Short Concrete Pump, Bi-Directional Machine, Road Hauler, Hydraulic Breaker Loader, Water Bowser as scrap, Air Compressor, Generator, Road Grader, Concrete Hauler, Wheel Jumbo Machine, Road Header, etc.) - Lot 2: Scrap material from 132KV grid station (including transformers and electrical equipment) - Lot 3: Miscellaneous unserviceable items and scrap (details available at the auction site) The technical scope covers a wide range of heavy-duty and industrial equipment, as well as electrical scrap, suitable for recycling or refurbishment. Bidders must inspect the items in person prior to the auction date to assess their condition. Entry tokens for participation will be issued on the morning of the auction, and a non-refundable entry fee of PKR 10,000 is required. Successful bidders must deposit 25 percent of the bid amount as earnest money on the spot, with the remaining balance payable within the stipulated period. All participants must bring original CNIC and proof of tax registration (FBR/ATL) for verification. The auction will be conducted at the Islamabad depot, with the first lot scheduled for 2026-10-18, the second for 2026-10-25, and the final lot for 2026-11-02. Bidders are advised to arrive early to complete registration and inspection formalities.
