Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
99 Ordnance Unit is conducting a public auction of unserviceable vehicles, mechanical transport scrap, tyres, batteries, barrels, and various other materials at Gunner Lines, Kohat. This auction is scheduled to take place on 16 and 17 September 2026, starting at 0900 hours each day. The auction will be held strictly on an as-is-where-is basis, and all interested parties are invited to participate in accordance with the laid down program.
Items being auctioned:
- Unserviceable vehicles (various types)
- Wooden, leather, canvas, rubber, iron, aluminium, plastic, and cotton materials
- Unserviceable mechanical transport scrap
- Tyres
- Batteries
- Barrels
The technical scope covers a wide range of obsolete and unserviceable items, including both automotive and material scrap, suitable for recycling, resale, or parts recovery. All items are available for inspection at the auction site prior to bidding. Entry to the auction area will require payment of an entry fee by each individual. Participation is strictly subject to the possession of an original CNIC along with a photocopy, which must be presented at the time of entry. The use of civil vehicles, as well as the possession of explosive or combustible items, weapons, mobile phones, cigarettes, matchboxes, and shawls, is strictly prohibited within the auction premises.
Successful bidders will be required to deposit 25 percent of the total bid amount on the spot as earnest money. The remaining balance, along with applicable government taxes, must be paid as per the terms announced at the auction. All taxes will be collected at the prevailing government rates. Terms and conditions will be announced prior to the commencement of the auction, so bidders are advised to arrive early and pay close attention to the instructions provided by the auction committee.
