Auction of Vacant Land Plots on CJ-Link Canal for Temporary Cultivation in Mianwali

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites interested bidders in Mianwali to participate in the auction of vacant land plots located on either side of the CJ-Link Canal. These plots are offered for temporary cultivation including Sarkanda cutting inside the awarded plots for a lease period up to 31-05-2027. The auction is scheduled to be held at WAPDA Main Camp Kundian, District Mianwali on 11-08-2026 and 12-08-2026 at 1130 hours. Items being procured: - Multiple land plots in Thal Section, Adhi Kot Section, and Shergharh Section with specific RD locations and plot numbers ranging from 1 to 36 - Plot areas vary from 2 to 47 acres - Lease period up to 31-05-2027 The auction covers a large scale of land plots with detailed RD (Road) locations and plot numbers. The site is situated in Mianwali district, and the lease is intended for agricultural use for 11 months. Bidders must provide a bid security of Rs. 50,000 in the form of CDR in favor of Chief Engineer & PD WAPDA CB&CRBC Chashma District Mianwali. No bidder will be allowed to participate without bid security. Eligibility requires submission of CNIC with correct postal address and mobile number. The successful bidder must deposit 25% of the highest bid at the fall of the hammer and the remaining 75% plus applicable taxes within 21 days of acceptance letter issuance. Failure to deposit the initial amount will result in forfeiture. Maximum five plots can be auctioned per participant. The auction process is governed by PPRA rules and WAPDA Material Disposal Procedure. Physical presence of bidders is compulsory. If any plot is not auctioned on the scheduled dates, a re-auction will be held on 18-08-2026 at 1130 hours at the same venue.
