AUCTION: Walnut Bark and Firewood Lots at Orakzai Forest Division Hangu

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Orakzai Forest Division Hangu is conducting a public auction for the sale of walnut bark (dandasa) and firewood (khal) collected from the Sub Division Forest Office, Orakzai Forest Division, Hangu. Interested parties are invited to participate in this auction, which will be held on 15-10-2026. The auction will be conducted in accordance with the official procedures and terms set by the department. Items being auctioned: - Lot 1: Walnut Bark (dandasa), 855 kilograms, Sub Division Forest Office, Orakzai Forest Division, Hangu - Lot 2: Walnut Bark (dandasa), 400 kilograms, Sub Division Forest Office, Orakzai Forest Division, Hangu - Lot 3: Firewood (khal), 32 quintals, Sub Division Forest Office, Orakzai Forest Division, Hangu The auction will be based on the weight of the walnut bark and firewood as determined by the official weighing process. To participate, bidders must deposit an earnest money of PKR 50,000 in the form of a call deposit in the name of the Divisional Forest Officer, Orakzai Forest Division, Hangu, prior to the auction. Successful bidders must pay the full bid amount and applicable taxes within 15 days of the auction. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the earnest money and cancellation of the award. All items will be handed over only after full payment and completion of documentation. Bidders are advised to inspect the lots in advance and ensure they understand the terms and conditions. The auction committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason. Tip: Arrive early on auction day to complete the earnest money deposit and registration process, as only registered bidders will be allowed to participate.
