AUCTION: Lease Rights of Watercourses for Fish Farming in Tehsil Jhang

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Directorate of Agriculture (Irrigation Reforms) Jhang is inviting interested parties to participate in the open auction for the lease rights of watercourses for fish farming in Tehsil Jhang. This auction provides an opportunity for eligible bidders to acquire the lease of specified watercourses for the purpose of fish farming for the upcoming year. The auction will be held at the office of the Directorate of Agriculture (Irrigation Reforms), Jhang, on 29 October 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bidders are advised to arrive on time as the auction proceedings will commence promptly. Items being auctioned: - Watercourse No. 21685/42-43/TDA, Tehsil Jhang - Watercourse No. A/1100, Tehsil Jhang Both watercourses are being offered for lease for fish farming purposes. The successful bidders will be granted rights for the specified period as per departmental terms and conditions. Interested parties must bring their original CNIC and a pay order/demand draft of earnest money equivalent to 10% of the reserve price for each watercourse they wish to bid on. The earnest money is refundable for unsuccessful bidders. The successful bidder must deposit 25% of the bid amount immediately after the auction, with the remaining amount payable within the stipulated period as per the auction rules. Eligibility criteria include Pakistani nationality, no outstanding dues with the department, and compliance with all departmental regulations. Bidders must not be defaulters of any government department. The auction committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason.
