The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) at Jinnah International Airport Karachi is procuring civil works for the provision of back-up generator power supply specifically for the air conditioning units of the OCC equipment room located at Terminal-1. This procurement is part of the FY 2026-27 plan and aims to enhance the reliability and operational efficiency of the airport’s critical infrastructure.

The technical scope involves installation and commissioning of a back-up generator system designed to support the air conditioning units ensuring uninterrupted power supply. The work will be executed at the Terminal-1 site within Jinnah International Airport Karachi, requiring compliance with relevant electrical and civil standards. The project demands experienced contractors familiar with generator power systems and airport operational protocols.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). PEC registration is required, preferably in relevant categories for electrical and civil works. Bidders should demonstrate prior experience in similar power supply or generator installation projects.
The tender follows a Single Stage-One Envelope procedure under the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Thursday, August 13, 2026, 11:00 AM. Bid opening will occur the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bid security in the form of Pay Order or Bank Guarantee is mandatory as per bidding documents.
