Biplane Angiography Machine for Stroke Intervention and Critical Care Expansion at PIMS

The Purchase Department of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Islamabad is procuring a fully digital flat-panel Biplane Angiography Machine for the Stroke Intervention Suite as part of the project titled Establishment of Stroke Intervention & Expansion of Critical Care/ Cardiac Facilities at PIMS. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities for paediatric and adult interventional procedures including neuro, interventional radiology, and cardiology. The technical scope includes a ceiling/floor mounted motorized biplane system with head-to-toe coverage, advanced dose management software, hemodynamic monitoring with at least 16 channels, and AI-driven technologies. The system features dual 30x30 cm flat panel detectors, a high-frequency 100 kW X-ray generator, and a patient table with 8-way floating carbon fiber top. Accessories include radiation protection gear, hemodynamic accessories, a high-performance workstation, and other medical devices such as a defibrillator and handheld echo. The vendor is responsible for all civil works, climate control, and installation as per manufacturer specifications and PNRA guidelines. Eligible bidders must comply with PEC registration, FBR/ATL registration, and provide evidence of experience and technical capability. The tender requires submission of original affidavits, CDR, technical bids, and a tender purchase receipt of Rs. 2,000. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and submit bids electronically by Thursday, June 18, 2026, 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained.
