Tender Description
The Sukkur IBA University requires construction of a boys and girls hostel at its Mirpurkhas campus, covering civil, plumbing, and electrical works. This project involves excavation, reinforced concrete, brick masonry, plastering, flooring, roofing, carpentry, metal works, and finishing. The site is located in Mirpurkhas, Sindh, and the works include detailed structural elements such as foundations, beams, columns, and slabs, with strict adherence to ACI and BS standards.
The scope includes installation of plumbing systems with potable water supply, sanitary drainage, and fire protection, using approved materials like HDPE pipes, UPVC soil and waste pipes, and quality sanitary fixtures. Electrical works cover medium and low voltage switchgear, transformers, wiring, lighting fixtures, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems, all designed to meet local and international standards. The project also includes waterproofing, termite control, and external paving.
Compliance with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) licensing, FBR tax registration, and active taxpayer status is mandatory. Bidders must have PEC category C-3 or above with relevant codes and demonstrate financial soundness and technical capability. The tender requires submission via EPADS-SPPRA online portal, with earnest money of PKR 5,000,000. The bid validity is 90 days, and bids will be evaluated on technical and financial criteria.
