Tender Description
Army Cardiac Hospital Lahore invites quotations for the bulk purchase of medicines, surgical disposables, lab kits, PVMS NA, and reagents for the financial year 2026/2027. This procurement is specifically for the hospital located in Lahore Cantt and aims to ensure continuous supply of high-quality medical items essential for patient care and hospital operations.
The technical scope includes supply of medicines with at least 90% remaining shelf life at the time of delivery. Short-life medicines will not be accepted. The supply must be completed within 30 days from the issuance of the supply order, and any delay beyond this period will attract a 2% late delivery charge every 30 days. The hospital requires the medicines and disposables to be supplied as a whole consignment, not in piecemeal deliveries. The procurement emphasizes quality, good business practice, and firm standing of the supplier.
Eligible bidders must be authorized distributors or suppliers with valid drug licenses, GST registration, sales tax certificates, NTN certificates, and must be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). They should also provide police verification and an affidavit confirming they are not blacklisted or defaulters of any bank or financial institution. Experience in supplying bulk medicines to reputed institutions will be an advantage.
Interested parties should submit their technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked with the firm's name and quotation category. The submission deadline and address are not explicitly mentioned but bidders are advised to contact the hospital promptly to avoid missing the deadline. The bids will remain valid for the full financial year 2025/2026.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents including drug licenses, tax certificates, and police verification are complete and up to date before submission. This will avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation. Also, quoting competitive prices without compromising quality and adhering strictly to delivery timelines will enhance chances of contract award.
