Tender Description
The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the carriage and transportation of rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 47 at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha. This tender is for the fiscal year 2026-27 and follows the National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure under Open Competitive Bidding with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The contract involves transportation of good quality rock salt, explicitly excluding loading of boulders or mixing of fines locally called 'soor'.
Items being procured:
- Transportation of good quality rock salt (147,000 metric tons annually) from Jansukh Mine No. 47 to Main Depot/New Depot including loading and unloading
- Transportation of good quality rock salt (3,000 metric tons annually) from Jansukh Mine No. 47 to M/s. Olympia Chemicals (Direct) including loading and unloading
The scope covers a 365-day schedule with monthly quantities of 12,250 metric tons for the main depot and 250 metric tons for Olympia Chemicals. Bidders must ensure compliance with specifications, maintaining quality without mixing fines or boulders. Eligibility requires registration on EPADS v2.0, valid FBR/NTN/GSTN, and relevant experience certificates. Bid security of PKR 600,000 is mandatory, payable via Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, or Demand Draft.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 by Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will occur the same day at 11:30 AM on EPADS. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Performance guarantee of 5% of contract price is required from the successful bidder.
