Checking Side Erosion and Strengthening Weak Bank Sites Works in Pakpattan and Vehari

The Punjab Irrigation Department invites tenders for important civil works under the Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure from engineering firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council. The works are to be executed on an item rate basis under the 2nd Bi-Annual Market Rate System from 1st July 2026 to 31st December 2026 for District Pakpattan and Vehari. Items being procured: - Checking Side Erosion / Strengthening weak sites of Pakpattan Canal Upper From RD:255+000 To 305+000 in Rasulpur Sub Division - Strengthening Weak Bank Sites and side protection on 2R/5L Minor between RD:19+000 to 20+000 R/S These works involve erosion control and bank strengthening at specified canal sections in Pakpattan and Vehari districts. The contractors must be registered with Punjab e-Procurement System and Pakistan Engineering Council with the relevant specialization and valid registration for the year 2026-27. Earnest money at 5% of the estimated cost must be deposited digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bids will be received and opened on 24th September 2026 at 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM respectively at the office of the Executive Engineer, Eastern Bar Division Pakpattan. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount and execute an agreement within 15 days of acceptance. All bidders must quote rates against each item and comply with site conditions and specifications. Conditional or incomplete bids will be rejected. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to acceptance without justification.
