Tender Description
Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi invites bids from approved contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council under relevant civil and electrical codes and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR. The procurement covers multiple works including ramp construction and repair, water supply pipeline laying, RCC jacketing for a bridge, and group works at various locations within Rawalpindi division.
Items being procured:
- New Proposed Ramp and Repair to old ramp at Margala Dry Port
- Laying water supply pipeline from pump near house No.234 to existing water storage near office of Inspector of Works-II
- Proposed RCC Jacketing for bridge No.19 on Golra-Bosal Section
- Group works including Block No.51/A, Quarter No.A&B, Bungalow No.684
These works involve civil construction and electrical installations as per Pakistan Railway Composite Schedule of Rates 2016. The projects are to be completed within 1 to 2 months depending on the lot. Bidders must have valid PEC registration with relevant specialization and be on ATL. Earnest money in the form of CDR or Bank Guarantee is required as per tender documents.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 portal along with scanned bid security and supporting documents including CNIC, PEC license, and ATL status. Additionally, original bid security must be submitted in sealed envelope to the Divisional Accounts Officer Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2026. Bids will be opened the same day at 12:30 PM in presence of bidders' representatives.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration code matches the scope of work and your ATL status is current before submitting bids to avoid disqualification. Also, strictly follow EPADS submission procedures as no other bid submission mode will be accepted.
