Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Wah Cantt to undertake multiple civil works projects for Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF). The scope includes construction of a tube well, installation of new machines in factory shops, exhaust system installation and roof retrofitting at the water treatment house, upgrading factory infrastructure, building a blending tank, and retrofitting maintenance shops with miscellaneous civil works.
The projects require experienced contractors capable of handling diverse civil engineering tasks within an industrial factory setting. The works involve concrete, masonry, plumbing, and structural modifications at various factory locations in Wah Cantt. Contractors must be prepared to manage site challenges such as factory operational constraints and coordination with multiple departments.
Bidders must hold valid PEC registrations in categories C-4 and C-5 as specified for each work. Only contractors on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR are eligible. The tender emphasizes submission of complete documentation including PEC certificates, experience records, financial capability, and equipment lists. Compliance with FBR and PEC requirements for the 2025-26 financial year is mandatory.
The submission deadline is set for 06-02-2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Applications must be submitted physically to the Director Civil Works office at Quaid Avenue, POF Wah Cantt. Contractors should ensure all documents are complete to avoid disqualification.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender notice for the specific PEC category requirements per work and ensure your Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and Earnest Money comply with MES rules to avoid rejection during pre-qualification.
