Provision of Civil Works Renovation and Refurbishment at Air University Islamabad

Air University Sector E-9 Islamabad invites sealed tenders from eligible contractors for the provision of civil works involving renovation, refurbishment, amendments, and restoration of the China Block at its main campus in Islamabad. The scope includes extensive civil construction activities such as site clearing, excavation, termite proofing, plain and reinforced cement concrete works, brick masonry, plastering, tiling, painting, installation of aluminium windows, wooden doors, stainless steel railings, false ceilings, granite works, drainage, and other related civil works as detailed in the tender documents. The project requires contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-4 or above, with proven experience in similar works and valid registration with the Income Tax Department. Tenderers must not be blacklisted or involved in litigation with any government agency in the last three years. The contract is item/job rate based, allowing firms to bid for individual items or combinations thereof, with prices firm and independent. Tender submissions must include a technical proposal with company profile, financial statements, affidavits, and proof of experience, and a financial proposal with priced BOQ and tender security in the form of a CDR equivalent to 2% of the tender value. The deadline for submission is 09th July 2026 at 1100 hours at the Directorate of A&S, Admin Block, Air University Sector E-9 Islamabad. Technical proposals will be opened at 1130 hours the same day, followed by financial proposals of technically qualified bidders. Bidders are advised to visit the site to fully understand the scope and conditions. Earnest money must accompany the bid, and tenders without it will be rejected. The contract duration is 180 days with a 180-day defects liability period. Payments will be made in three installments based on work progress, with 5% retention money released after the defects liability period.
