Coal Transportation Services from Thar Coal Mine to LEPCL Plant

Lucky Electric Power Company Limited (LEPCL), a 660 MW coal-fired power plant, invites bids for coal transportation services from Thar Coal Mine near Islamkot, Tharparkar District to the LEPCL Plant at Port Qasim, Karachi. The expected total annual quantity is approximately 3.0 million tons starting from 1st November 2026 till 31st October 2027. Bids are invited from experienced and reputable coal/bulk cargo transporters with 22-wheeler self-tipping trailers and a minimum of five years' experience in coal/bulk cargo handling and transport. Items being procured: - Coal transportation services using 22-wheeler self-tipping trailers The technical bid must be submitted in a separate envelope and include company legal status, structure with managerial capabilities, annual turnover of last five years, evidence of previous experience supported by client letters, current contracts list, applicant tax information and NTN details, litigation history of last five years if any, proof of ownership of trailers with registration numbers, affidavit of not being blacklisted, and all relevant approvals/permits/NOCs for coal transportation as required by law. Eligibility requires proven experience in coal/bulk cargo transport, valid registrations, and compliance with legal and safety standards. Sealed bids for technical and commercial proposals must be submitted to the company by 12:00 noon on Monday, 12 October 2026.
