Tender Description
The Directorate General of Archaeology Punjab invites e-bids through ePADS from firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category with specialization BC-02 (Restoration & Conservation). The firms must have relevant experience in conservation projects.
Items being procured:
- Conservation of Historical Monuments of District Attock (Behram ki Baradari and Attock Tomb) with estimated cost Rs. 63.507 Million
- Conservation of Monuments of 2nd Angle Sikh War District Mindi Baha Din with estimated cost Rs. 14.060 Million
- Conservation of Lahore Railway Station with estimated cost Rs. 800 Million
- Conservation of Taxila Railway Station with estimated cost Rs. 100 Million
- Conservation of Fatima Jinnah College Gujrat with estimated cost Rs. 126.012 Million
The scope includes restoration and conservation of historical monuments at specified locations in Punjab. The work requires specialized materials and techniques suitable for heritage conservation. The project demands PEC registration in category C-5 or C-4 or above as specified per lot, and firms must submit 5% earnest money of the estimated cost.
Technical and financial bids must be submitted online at pp.punjab.gov.pk by 12th August 2026 at 2:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 2:30 PM. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 27th July 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Directorate General of Archaeology, 60-A Garden Town Lahore.
Bidders should ensure complete and accurate submission of DNIT/BOQ rates and accompanying documents including CDR/Bank Guarantee in favor of Director General Archaeology. The procurement follows Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure as per PPRA rules 2014. Bidders are advised to carefully review all terms and conditions on the official website and attend the pre-bid meeting for clarifications.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure PEC registration with the correct specialization BC-02 and to prepare earnest money instruments well in advance to avoid last-minute delays in bid submission.
