Construction of Additional New Room at House No C-34 University of Karachi

The University of Karachi invites bids for the construction of an additional new room at House No C-34 located within its premises in Karachi. This procurement is managed by the University of Karachi and involves comprehensive civil, electrical, and plumbing works to enhance the existing infrastructure. The technical scope includes dismantling existing walls and floors, excavation and backfilling, termite proofing, various grades of concrete works, steel reinforcement, block masonry, cement plastering with waterproofing, tile fixing, wooden door installation, aluminum ventilators, distemper painting, roof screeding, and rainwater pipe installation. Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC under category C-6 with specialization CE08, possess NTN and Sales Tax registration, be registered with SRB for works and services, and have a minimum of three years' relevant experience with an annual turnover of at least PKR 10 million over the last three years. Bid security of 2% of the total contract value is mandatory, along with submission of a detailed company profile and payment of a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 2,000. Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS portal by 21-05-2026 at 11:00 am. The technical and financial bids will be evaluated on a least cost selection basis ensuring value for money. The bid opening will take place on the same day at 11:30 am in the Engineering Department of the University of Karachi.
