Construction of Boundary Wall and Main Gate at 132KV Grid Station Chak Shahbaz District Mandi Bahauddin and Construction of Tower Foundations and Shifting of Material for 132KV D/C T/Line Pasrur - Narowal

Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites bids for two major works in Punjab province. The first tender involves the construction of a boundary wall and main gate at the proposed 132KV Grid Station Chak Shahbaz in District Mandi Bahauddin. The second tender covers the construction of tower foundations of Type ZM-1 semi sub-merged towers and shifting of material from GEPCO Warehouse Wazirabad to site for the 132KV D/C Transmission Line Pasrur to Narowal. Items being procured: - Construction of Boundary Wall and main Gate at proposed 132KV Grid Station Chak Shahbaz District Mandi Bahauddin (Item Rate Basis) - Construction of tower foundations Type ZM-1 (03-Nos.) Semi Sub Merged (Drawing PDW/TC-440) - Shifting of Material from GEPCO Warehouse Wazirabad to site - Erection of tower type ZM-1+6 meter complete (03-Nos.) with welding of Nut & Bolts - Dismantling of existing tower type ZM-1 (03-Nos.) without stubs (Item Rate Basis) The technical scope includes civil construction works for boundary walls and gates, foundation works for transmission towers, and logistics for material shifting. The completion periods are 120 days for the boundary wall and gate, and 30 days for the tower foundation and material shifting. Eligibility criteria require contractors to have valid PEC registration renewal for the year 2026-27 under codes CE-10 and EE-05 as applicable. Bidders must have an average annual turnover verified by a certified auditor matching the BOQ amount for the last two years, a current bank statement showing 15% balance of the bid amount, and at least five years of experience with valid work orders and completion certificates. Joint ventures must submit performance security and joint NTN in FBR & PRA. Earnest money of 2% of the BOQ cost in the form of Bank Draft, Pay Order, CDR, or Bank Guarantee valid for 120 days is mandatory. The successful bidder must submit 10% performance security after issuance of LOI. Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-Pads new version 2.0 portal by 19 October 2026 at 11:00 Hrs, with opening at 11:30 Hrs the same day.
