Construction and Completion of Civil Works, Erection, Stringing, Testing & Commissioning for Protection Measures of Tower Nos. 118 & 119 of 500kV Nokhar-New Lahore Single Circuit Quad Bundle T/Line

The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) Lahore invites experienced and qualified contractors for the Construction and Completion of Civil Works, Erection, Stringing, Testing & Commissioning for Protection Measures of Tower Nos. 118 & 119 of 500kV Nokhar-New Lahore Single Circuit Quad Bundle Transmission Line. This project is located near Sheikhupura city in Punjab province and involves critical infrastructure work to ensure the safety and reliability of the transmission line. Items being procured: - Clearing Right of Way - Mobilization and Demobilization - Check Survey including pegging out and layout of tower locations, spotting/stalking of towers - Reinforced concrete pile pier foundations (cast in situ installation) with Sulphate Resisting Cement (SRC) - Transport and installation of 500kV towers types 'STL' and 'ATL' including leg extensions, stubs, and accessories - Welding of erected tower bolts and nuts up to 8.0 m height - Dismantling of existing 500kV towers and transport to designated NGC store - Transport and installation of ACSR 'Drake' conductor for Quad Bundle configuration - Transport and installation of OPGW/Shield wire including drop down lengths for joint boxes - Testing and commissioning of transmission line - Bitumen coating for footing of towers The technical scope includes detailed survey and staking, sub-soil investigations, reinforced concrete foundations, erection of steel towers, stringing of conductors and OPGW, installation of insulators, hardware, anti-climbing devices, and all associated testing and commissioning activities. The contractor must comply with all safety, environmental, and quality standards and provide all necessary equipment, labour, and materials. Eligibility requires PEC registration in category C-4 or above, FBR active taxpayer status, and satisfactory past experience in similar transmission line projects. Key personnel must be qualified engineers with relevant experience. The contract duration is 45 days from commencement with a 60-day bid validity. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by 27 July 2026 13:00 PKT with original bid security submitted physically to the Executive Engineer TLC Division (EHV-I), NGC Lahore. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 13:30 PKT. The contract will be awarded on a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. The contractor is advised to carefully review the site conditions, attend the pre-bid meeting on 17 July 2026 at 11:45 AM at House# 23- Nargis Block Allama Iqbal Town Lahore, and ensure timely submission of all required documents including PEC license, bid security, power of attorney, and beneficial ownership declaration.
