Tender Description

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the construction of a Conference Hall and Guest House at its Branch Office in Quetta. This procurement is specifically for civil, plumbing, and electrical works at the PMDC site in Quetta, Balochistan. The project involves excavation, reinforced concrete work, brickwork, plastering, sanitary fittings, electrical wiring, and installation of fixtures as per detailed BOQ and technical specifications. The scope includes use of approved quality materials such as first-class bricks, premium quality sand and crush, Bestway or equivalent cement, approved electrical switches and wiring, sanitary pipes and fixtures, and painting with weather shield paint. The project requires adherence to latest standards and workmanship practices. Completion time is 8 months with a 12-month defect liability period starting from the issuance of the completion certificate. Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC in Category C-5 with building codes CE-09, CE-10, and EE-04. Submission of earnest money of Rs. 400,000 in the form of demand draft or pay order is mandatory.
