Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Multan to undertake the construction of a comprehensive drainage system alongside essential road repair works. The Municipal Corporation Multan requires skilled execution of civil works involving excavation, laying of concrete pipes, and resurfacing of damaged road sections. The project demands high-quality materials such as reinforced concrete, asphalt, and aggregates to ensure durability and compliance with local engineering standards.
The site is located in the heart of Multan, where proper drainage is critical to prevent seasonal flooding and maintain road safety. Contractors must be prepared to address challenges related to urban infrastructure, including traffic management and coordination with utility services during construction.
Bidders should hold a valid PEC registration in the relevant category and maintain an active FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare the Technical Bid with all required documents, including Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), to meet compliance and avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for the evening of 17th June 2024, with bid opening scheduled shortly after. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope at the Municipal Corporation office located on Civil Lines Road, Multan. Late submissions will not be entertained.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to check the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty requirements and ensure your CDR is valid for the entire bid validity period to avoid common pitfalls during bid evaluation.
