Tender Description
The LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for the construction of drainage systems and streets in Village Dhupai UC Mandala and UC Tanda Tehsil & District Gujrat. This procurement is conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System and follows the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended).
Items being procured:
- Construction of Drainage system & Streets in Village Dhupai UC Mandala Tehsil & District Gujrat (Estimated Cost: Rs. 16.583 Million)
- Construction of Drainage system & Streets in UC Tanda Tehsil & District Gujrat (Estimated Cost: Rs. 18.000 Million)
The scope includes detailed construction works for drainage and street infrastructure in the specified villages and union councils within Gujrat district. Bidders must be duly enlisted or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27 and comply with all eligibility criteria, specifications, and bidding conditions as outlined in the bidding documents available on the Punjab e-Procurement System and PPRA Punjab website.
Bid Security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted via Digital Bank Guarantee (e-Bank Guarantee) through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Physical bid securities such as CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft will not be accepted. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder. Bids must be submitted electronically by 19-09-2026 at 12:30 PM, with opening at 01:00 PM on the same day in the office of the Assistant Engineer LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat.
Bidders should ensure their bids remain valid for 60 days from the date of opening. Any bidder quoting more than 30% below the rate must submit a detailed item rate analysis before the work order. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the tender and forfeiture of earnest money.
