Construction of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Schemes in Northern Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Public Health Engineering Division Lower Chitral invites bids for the construction of multiple drinking water supply and sanitation schemes across various northern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Chitral Lower, Upper, Swat, Dir Upper, Dir Lower, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, Kohistan Upper, Kohistan Lower, Batagram, Mansahra, Torghar, Abbottabad, Kolai Pallas, and Haripur for the fiscal years 2025-26. The projects include schemes such as Drinking Water Supply Scheme Arian Lower Chitral, Attani Phase II, Zargarandeh, and solarized schemes at Biyaban and Kuru Drosh, among others. The technical scope covers civil works related to water supply and sanitation infrastructure, including installation of pipelines, water treatment, and sanitation facilities. Solarized water supply schemes indicate integration of solar power systems for sustainable water pumping solutions. The estimated costs for individual schemes range from approximately PKR 10.044 million to PKR 26.5 million, reflecting significant scale and complexity. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and code, registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), and enlisted with the Provincial Enlistment Committee. Firms should have proven experience in similar water supply and sanitation projects and comply with all regulatory requirements including FBR registration. The bid submission deadline is set for 23rd June 2026 at 12:00 PM, with bid opening at 12:30 PM on the same day. Bids must be submitted online through the EPADS portal. A 2% bid security in the form of a call deposit is required along with the technical bid. Tender documents including Bill of Quantities can be downloaded from the official EPADS and KPRA websites. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all bid documents are complete and free from any overwriting or disfiguring, as incomplete or conditional bids will be considered non-responsive.
