Tender Description
The Irrigation Division Pishin is inviting bids for important development works scheduled for the fiscal year 2026-27. This tender is specifically for the construction of flood control infrastructure in Pishin district, Balochistan. The department requires experienced PEC registered contractors with relevant expertise in irrigation and flood control systems to undertake these projects.
Items being procured:
- Construction of Flood Drain at Yaro-1, Yaro-2 & Yaro-3 Tehsil Pishin (Estimated Cost: 30.00 Million PKR)
- Construction of Flood Protection Wall/Band at Killi Bala Manzari Tehsil Huramzai District Pishin (Estimated Cost: 10.00 Million PKR)
The technical scope includes the construction of flood drains and protective walls designed to mitigate flood risks in vulnerable areas of Pishin. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under category CE04, specializing in Irrigation & Flood Control Systems and Water Retaining Structures. The projects require sound financial capacity, proven experience with at least two similar assignments completed in the last three years, and a minimum bank credit line or cash availability equal to 70% of the project cost.
Bidders must be on the Active Taxpayer List and registered with the Balochistan Revenue Authority. Tender submissions require a 2% earnest money in the form of a Bank Guarantee or CDR. The bidding process follows a single stage two envelope procedure, with technical bids evaluated before financial proposals are opened.
The tender fee is Rs. 1000, payable via Green Challan. Tender documents can be obtained electronically from the BPPRA website. Submission for the first work is electronic through the supplier dashboard, while the second work’s bid must be submitted manually at the Executive Engineer’s office. The deadline for submission is **30 July 2026 by 11:00 AM**, with tender opening at 12:00 PM the same day.
