Tender Description
Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Engineering Department invites bids for the construction of a Football Ground Pavilion and Boundary Wall at Abdul Rehman Goth UC-02 Lal Bakhar TMC Mauripur Town, District Kemari, Karachi. This project involves comprehensive civil and electrical works including excavation, reinforced concrete, masonry, plastering, painting, installation of doors, windows, sanitary fittings, and solar-powered lighting systems.
Items being procured:
- Excavation and earthworks for foundations and floors
- Cement concrete works of various grades
- Reinforced cement concrete including steel reinforcement
- Masonry work with solid blocks
- Cement plastering and bitumen coating
- Flooring with porcelain, marble, and pattern tiles
- Installation of wooden doors, windows, ventilators, and iron grills
- Anti-termite treatment
- Sanitary fittings including washbasins, W.C. pans, taps, and bathroom accessories
- Plumbing with UPVC pipes and fittings
- Electrical works including poles, solar LED lights, wiring, switches, fans, circuit breakers, and LED lighting fixtures
- Pre-engineered steel roofing with insulation
- Boundary wall construction with reinforced concrete and masonry
The technical scope covers site preparation, structural works, finishing, electrical installations, and solar power system setup. The project duration is 10 months with a penalty of Rs. 3,000 per day for delay. Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant categories, active on FBR and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) tax lists, and provide an earnest money deposit of 5% of the estimated cost. An Integrity Pact is mandatory for contracts exceeding Rs. 10 million.
Key dates include bid submission by 03-09-2026 at 11:00 AM via the SPPRA e-Procurement System (EPADS). Bids will be opened online on the same day at 11:30 AM. The bid security must be submitted both online and physically before bid opening.
