Construction of Foundation of Steel Tubular Poles, Erection and Stringing Work for 132KV D/C Transmission Line Feed for Nooriabad-II Grid Station

Hyderabad Electric Supply Company Limited (HESCO) invites bids for the construction of foundation of steel tubular poles, erection and stringing work for a 132KV double circuit transmission line feeding the Nooriabad-II Grid Station in Hyderabad, Sindh. This procurement is part of HESCO's own resources for the financial year 2025-26. The scope includes bore drilling and concreting of RCC piles, chimney concreting, transportation and erection of steel tubular poles, and stringing of 6 Nos. Greely conductors with earth wire and installation of associated fittings and insulators. The project completion period is 130 days with a defect liability period of one year after completion. Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC in C4 category with specialization CE02, CE10 & EE05, active taxpayers with FBR and SRB, and not blacklisted by any organization. Experience of at least two similar works in DISCO/NTDC within the last seven years is required. Bidders must submit bid security of PKR 1,500,000 in the form of bank guarantee, CDR or bankers cheque. Bids will be submitted electronically through EPADS by 11th June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated on a least cost basis. The bid validity period is 120 days. The contract price is fixed and no escalation or idle charges will be allowed. Payment terms include 10% retention money, half released with final bill and half after defect liability period. The contract will be governed by the laws of Pakistan and disputes will be settled under the Arbitration Act of Pakistan 1940.
